Our rapid growth has led to our exciting expansion in the North American market! We are now looking for a strategic & results-driven Sales Development Manager with excellent communication skills who enjoys building, leading, and working in CDN/cloud industry. This role will eventually form the core of our expanding Sales and Business Development Management team. It is a unique opportunity to work with our Head of Sales to help create the roadmap to our future growth initiatives in NA.

Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in and will be primarily responsible for outbound prospecting (including, but not limited to): gather & identify prospect insights, generate strong interest, qualify leads, and arrange meetings within assigned sales segments, and contribute to overall new business revenue targets.

The Sales Development Manager is a Full-Time position based in Monrovia, CA (remote hybrid).

ROLE & RESPONSBILITIES

  • Proactively self-generate, maintain, and update a database of leads through referrals, networking groups, cold calling/emailing, etc.
  • Sustaining a well-managed sales pipeline and providing precise monthly and quarterly forecasts to enhance the visibility of potential opportunities.
  • Qualify leads- Identify key players and set up quality meetings with potential prospects to figure out their needs, create product demand and to convert those leads into new business relationships.
  • Achieving meeting bookings and revenue growth targets within the designated account portfolio to meet or exceed forecasted results.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional support teams to translate customer requirements and suggest product recommendations and technologies to help customers advance their business.
  • Work closely with Head of Sales to generate new leads and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and news, competitor activity, and new product/service offerings.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Display a strong grasp of technology and the internet, encompassing areas such as hosting, networking, and the strategic landscape.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and enthusiasm for operating in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced work setting.
  • Possess proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate insight into our customers' businesses, their challenges, and the ability to propose tailored solutions.
  • Bring experience in managing large enterprise accounts, high-touch sales, and effectively cross-selling products.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales in software-as-a-solution, service or consulting industry
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of CDN, Edge Services, and Cloud Security

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of travel (up to 20% travel required)

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • $80,000-$110,000 yearly with Competitive Commission Plan – Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
