Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is a position that drives the acquisition and nurturing of promising leads, as well as the advancement of negotiations and deal conversion through multifaceted approaches to target companies, delivering value directly linked to business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Outreach Activities
- Selection and listing of target companies
- Identification of target contacts (decision-makers/key persons, etc.)
- Securing appointments (meetings/discussions, etc.) with target contacts
- Lead nurturing through continuous information provision and relationship-building post-appointment
- Outreach Methods
- Phone calls (cold calls/follow-ups)
- Emails (information sharing/invitations/proposals for appointments)
- Direct mail (sending letters/invitations)
- Event participation (attending trade shows/seminars for information gathering)
- Planning/hosting/operating company-hosted events
- Outreach Tools
- Utilization of internal SFDC (Salesforce) records
- Acquisition and use of lead information via research tools like ZoomInfo
- Creating touchpoints with target individuals via LinkedIn Navigator and other SNS tools
Requirements
- logical thinking ability (executing the entire process from issue identification → hypothesis formulation → improvement measure planning)
- Product/service comprehension (understanding features of company products/services and making appropriate appeals)
- Ability to grasp customer/market needs and respond flexibly
- Proposal/negotiation skills utilizing diverse communication methods
- Operational capability with various sales/information tools (SFDC, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, etc.)
